The director of the museum offered inner expansion, he offered to make a how to video and put it online, to keep the community engaged with the museum during the pandemic
He could have fast forwarded and worked on the first trophy from beginning to end, but he chose not to. He chose to finish the process with the loving cup trophy, the damaged piece
Too much polish can break through the plated silver, wear it out and show the base metal. But he wasn’t there to judge and he wasn’t going to keep it out of sight
He was going to wax it, cover every inch of it with wax and preserve it for future generations
He knows that viewers will want to know the brands of the materials he uses, the museum uses, trustworthy brands, and so he names them and names a local supply company
He begins the process, gives us the reasons why, and adds tips of caution

He warns us about using polish, but there’s no other way to remove tarnish, remove tarnish and we remove a layer of silver, he warns, and he warns us again when he’s about to use it, even though nothing’s heavily tarnished in his collection, it’s just for the demonstration, but he seems to get carried away and continues to polish all of it
Silver is his addiction and maybe he can get us addicted too, maybe we’ll get bitten by the silver bug like he was
He remembers when he got bitten, the name of the woman who told him about sterling silver and silver hallmarks in the UK, the book that accompanies him wherever he goes
The book that makes every piece site specific, and there is often a stamp with the initials of the silversmith who made it
The intrinsic value of silver, precious metal, changing hands, bought and sold and bought and sold again, the stories it carries of the unremembered dead
Tempted?
He had to let go in an emergency, when he couldn’t pay the rent
If we become too possessed taking care of it, draw the line, he says, it’s just stuff, and he recommends that we use it daily, the best way to keep the tarnish off is to use it every day
Last of all he takes his umbrella, old and new, and with knowledge of the natural laws of silver, and with knowledge of what becomes visible over time, he takes a wee bit of the polish, and pays the price to bring the handle back to life

He responds. He responded to a woman who wrote to him in Spanish about enamel work. Note that enamel work done by professionals can increase the vailue of silver, she said.
Man, this thing looks like trash, he said when he picked up his enamel spoon. He had kept it looking that way partly because he was afraid that cleaning it would scrub off the enamel, and partly because he wanted to show us that the crappiest looking spoon could turn out to be something
He turns it around and we see proof that it is sterling, and he tells us that he double checked with his XRF machine

Yes, the need for skilled trades, the constant need to update if it is to be timeless

But he went back to his usual after it
Leisure. Escape. He tells us that he finds cleaning plated silver fun and relaxing
He doesn’t measure, it’s his free time. He eyeballs the ingredients and it works out for him, he says
He immerses the pieces, his grandmother’s spoons. He cannot see that some of his audience is terrified, terrrified that the solution will damage the enamel and strip the pieces of their silver, if not this time, maybe the next. Look what happened to the tray
He doesn’t mind a few nicks, he says, which is the right attitude to have in Virgo, where the narcissus grows
But it is also in Virgo, in the third decan, where the psychopomp lives, fear of the psychopomp
Sagittarius He’s obviously not aware of the risk he’s taking. He hasn’t accumulated the knowledge we have
Scorpio Someone should warn him
Mars Not me, I’m unpossessed
Libra Someone should tell him about Renaissance wax-
After doing the dip, you really should be using a fine cream silver polish afterward, to polish/shine the objects. Using a dry cloth can cause a lot of scratching. You can then coat everything with a thin coat of Renaissance Micro-Crystalline Wax, which will keep them tarnish free, or inhibit tarnish, for a much longer time than untreated.
Libra Dip and polish!
Aquarius Chemical overload
Nothing like “Goddard’s Silver polish”
Chiron Now we’re talking

Jupiter Amateurs!
Great tips! I just bought a 100 year old silver carving set at auction and they need a nice cleaning and polish this makes it a lot easier than I thought
Saturn Nooooo!
I followed directions basically the same as this but the site called for leaving them in the pot for 30 min. After the 30 min I took the items out and rubbed them with clean microfiber cloth and to my dismay some of the plating came off to reveal copper.
Gemini Live and learn
Pluto He’s not answering any of the questions
That’s very good way to remove tarnish , is it safe for Queens Anne silver ware too ??
Can I do this on a Sheffield Plate teapot with a wooden handle and lid finial?
Venus He doesn’t want to hold anyone. He only asked people if they preferred the antiquated look or the shinier polished finish
Uranus He answered this one
Very interesting video. I have a very old silver bowl from my great grandmother. But it became green in some parts. Do you think I can get rid of this with this way?
Thanks for watching, that’s a very interesting question. I have limited knowledge of chemistry and metals but I think copper typically turns green so if the bowl is plated it could be that the plating had worn down and you’re seeing the base copper. Which wouldn’t really be fixable. True silver usually turns brown or black on the surface but if it is some weird green substance then I would imagine this process would either help or in any case not make things worse for your great grandma’s bowl.
Moon Oh dear
Uranus He’s getting silly
I’m doing exactly what you did and nothing has happened! What’s wrong??
your items have had a protection spell placed on them by a neurotic witch and sadly you will need to seek out supernatural guidance to lift this enchantment. But in all seriousness I’ve no idea.

Entrepreneurship
The day began with the Moon in Aries in a square to Mercury in Leo
She is Crista from Amber Tortoise Jewelry, and if we type in ambertortoise.com, it takes us to her updated website Criscara
She is promoting her business by giving us a tip on how to clean tarnish off sterling silver jewelry, silver or gold chains that do not have natural gemstones
By noon the Moon is in Taurus, and when someone asks
I have a bracelet with a opal. Will this way harm the stone?
someone else answers
The author mentions NOT to do this with silver jewelry containing gemstones.
Someone else not only disciplines someone, but proceeds to hold Crista with an explanation of why we must never clean gemstones with baking soda
The heating and cooling (placing in hot water and removing) can loosen gem prongs, and this is a suspension, as well as a solution, so baking soda residue can be left behind which would dull gemstones.
Crista remains unperturbed and carries on with her presentation. She is central to it, the designs she wears, the designs she creates. They become more visible after we visit her website
Her trust in people’s intelligence, comprehension. She tells us what to do, relies on the clarity of her words. She doesn’t move around to rinse and dry and disturb the balance. Her hope is to make a good impression. Her hope is that her freebie will get us to step into her website, join her lake
She was looking for cost effective ways to do this, and came up with this idea
The jewelry business is highly competitive
So is fashion

and she answered like you would a friend, without asking the reason why
In the bangle I wear size 17cm which is the small. In the snake chain I wear size 18cm.
This is not her birth chart. It is the chart that received the video, but she invested so much of herself in it
When we don’t have the time, the Sun is in the first house
She is a Pandora employee. She clarifies that she no longer works there, but it is in her title and she is showing us how Pandora cleans jewelry
Aquarius in her seventh house of contracts would match an international company like Pandora, tied to Capricorn in the sixth house by Saturn
There is rank in Capricorn, in the institutions that Capricorn rules, hierarchy. Her video may have caught the attention of people she worked with, people who took it to their boss who in turn took it to their boss, all the way till it reached the top
Have you verified that she was on our payroll?
Yes
Are we tied to her eighth house of other people’s resources?
Is that important?
You told me that in this video she disseminates the method of cleaning we use in our stores, our cleaning method
I see. Yes, we’re tied

Venus conjunct the point of Rahu in Gemini

This time she is simply cleaning her Pandora jewelry at home
The lunar work in Scorpio in the fourth house, and the traditional ruler Mars in Gemini, applying her natal Venus
Her eleventh house is activated and she’s been thinking about her goals for the new year, she’d like to seed something new
Saturn is transiting her seventh house in Aquarius, natural ruler of the eleventh, and she’s coming up with ideas to earn some extra money in places of pooled resources, like the youtube partner programme, and maybe get a bonus from promoting a product. She’s thinking of how to go about it
To Scorpio Look how many views my cleaning video in 2020 got
Scorpio It’s a mystery
Pluto in Capricorn It’s because you showed them what death and rebirth is all about. Ashes floating in the soapy water and the phoenix rising shiny and clean
She doesn’t get it, but she does, just hasn’t found the words
Her boyfriend tells her that it’s her charm, and her hands, he calls them talking hands
She considers doing another cleaning video, changing things up a bit. She goes through all the comments and suggestions, vinegar, bleach, baking soda. She wouldn’t risk it, no. What’s given her credibility is that she worked at Pandora. Good ol’ dawn soap, toothbrush and polishing cloth. She could promote the polishing cloth she got from amazon, compare it to Pandora’s
She feels a tug, Jupiter transiting her ninth house. Is that allowed? She better do some research before comparing products, and come to think of it, she should contact the polishing cloth company, what’s its name. Last thing she needs is to get sued. She makes a note of it. Funny how she never thought of these things before, she just dived in. Although she did consider putting ex employee in the title, but how does that sound? She didn’t want people to think she got fired, which she didn’t
She prepares, watches commercials to prepare. There are commercials that stand out as commercials, BUY THIS, and there are ones that don’t stand out, they seep in, catch you unawares, get you emotionally involved and then show you the logo. Huh
When she’s ready to film, Scorpio won’t let her film in the fourth and Cancer won’t let her film in the twelfth, her go to places. Why not, she asks them, and they tell her because she’s working. Off into the sixth house they send her, the sign of Capricorn where there is history, where we study patterns of the past to prepare for the future, where we learn from our mistakes the hard way, in this sign that’s so exposed, so high up it’s a long way to fall
There are bubbles in Cancer. In Capricorn there’s a flood, an existential crisis. Take care of me 24/7, take charge
She sets her things down in Capricorn and has a vision of the earth burning and the sky falling, and only one raft made of reeds. She dresses her hair and chooses her makeup accordingly, and takes the reins, without gloves
She’s still herself, there’s nothing she can really hide, and she tells us what she’s doing and why, and asks us to subscribe. She mentions how people came after her in the first video for throwing polished pieces back into the dirty soapy water and not rinsing. She explains that she wasn’t thinking, she was nervous, and thanks us for showing her the correct path to take
But she does it again. Look how shiny it is
She’s discovering a side of herself she didn’t know. playful and defiant
She doesn’t brush like she did before, she polishes using the polishing cloth that’s much better than Pandora’s, the one she found in the market place, the one she stands behind. Pandora behind her and she behind the polishing cloth, her authority, and when she comes to the last piece, she leaves us, and all we see are her hands at work
She films herself in the washroom as proof that she will rinse, but she doesn’t satisfy her critics, she doesn’t pour the dirty soapy water out in front of the camera
She found the word she was looking for when she was making the video, when she began to show us how to clean and the visions disappeared
She found the word to describe the feeling

He would have used a flexishaft or wirebrush to remove the oxidation, he says, but there are areas of the ring too hard to reach, so he’s going to use a tumbler
He learned how to use it through trial and error
He had a previous one that didn’t work so well, and he tells us why he uses a Lortone
He tells us how much shot we should use, 2 pounds. He started off with much less and didn’t get good results, and settled for 2 pounds. In fact all the videos about tumblers post 2015 tell us to use 2 pounds, like it were the norm
He seems to have set the standard
He gives us tips as well, makes life easier
He frees us from having to figure it out by ourselves, frees us from all that labour
His hands talk quickly
We wouldn’t want to interrupt him about leaving more delicate pieces in the tumbler for 24 hours, what the side effects could be. He’s given us a prime example after all. With more delicate pieces we could turn the tumbler off after a couple of hours and check
Then he goes on to use abrasives and we hold our tongue. Best to watch the video he mentions first. In the video he mentions, he abrades a tarnished piece of thick silver, polishes it, and puts a link to show us the jewellery he made from it. He recycles silver to make his own creations
He summarizes what he’s done to the ring so far, and says that normally we’d use the pre polish Tripoli and then finish it off with rouge, but he’s replaced them with something better. He shows us the results and says, If you weren’t a convert to this Menzerna polish, hopefully you will be now
He enjoys answering the technical questions, the specifics of Menzerna
They changed the formula names. Could you list the comparable items Menzerna now sells?
He’s patient when he answers similar questions
Yes they have changed the packaging. Even more confusing is they now have the blue polish in a yellow box and yellow polish in a blue box – Great work from the product designers there. But the polish is still the same. The Menzerna polishes I use are the Blue P164 for a pre poolish and Yellow P175 for finishing. Dave
When someone asks about the powder he mixes with the water,
What was the powder that you put in the tumbler? Sorry but I’m a french Montrealer and sometime I have problem with the English accent
he answers
Dave.
And when someone asks him about the tumbler,
Can I ask can you recommend a tumbler please not expensive
he’s not happy
Have you actually watched the video? as that’s pretty much the whole point of the video, hence the title. Dave

The philosophers’ stone, have you heard of it?
It wasn’t really meant to be a stone, but an imaginary potion that could transmute baser metals into silver or gold
The alchemist by David Teniers the younger, 1645
Imaginary as it was, the search drove some people mad, they became obsessed. Others enjoyed the journey, learning about chemicals, their properties and what they could be used for. They took notes, notes of caution about the sting in their eyes, the burn on their skin, the fire and the explosion. They were opening up a field of study, disseminating knowledge
Then came Alessandro Volta’s battery, electricity that could be generated chemically
Could this be the philosophers’ stone, wondered Luigi
Luigi Valentino Brugnatelli, that is
He studied Volta’s illustration
On the electricity excited by the mere contact of conducting substances of different kinds by Alessandro Volta
Yes, yes, thought Luigi. Volta had broken a barrier between us and the gods, like, what was his name? Asklepios, yes, no, not like Asklepios
He traced the outlines of the drawings and felt an electric shock run though his body
Like Prometheus
Could he have given shape and form to the philosophers’ stone and not known it? Well, leave it to me, Volta
Back in his lab he made his own battery and experimented
He used a steel wire to attach the negative pole of the battery to a silver coin and immersed it in a liquid mixture containing gold. He waited and watched silver turn into gold
By Jove! he exclaimed, and when he checked and saw that it was only a coating, By Jove, he whispered
Later on, John Wright of Birminghman electroplated baser metals with silver using potassium cyanide
Can you see it?
See what?
In the foreground
The battery?
Yes, the battery
At least three people thought the video ended when she hooked the bracelet to the tool board, if you have any questions
but it doesn’t end there
Hiii, it is a great video!! How did you make this electric adapter to plate the material? I couldn’t find the video… (too many crying cat emojis) Can you share it with me, please! Thanks!

Really like your video, and your wire skills are beautiful. I think you have your polarity backwards though, the anode is hooked to the positive, and the negative is collecting the plating
What does it matter, it’s visual
If we have it right, it bubbles and the clip gets plated

Aeëtes watches as Jason tries to yoke the fire-breathing bulls. Drawing by Nicolas-André Monsiau, 1806
He knew it was the work of his daughter.
When he gathered his Kolchian warriors together, he didn’t ask them to bring back the fleece, he asked them to bring back his daughter.
“It’s Medea they’re after,” said one of the Argonauts.
“Hand her over and be done with the Kolchians!”
Apollonios Rhodios tells us that Medea overheard them, and she pleaded with Jason, with each one of the Argonauts, not to hand her over, not to let her die in agony and dishonour at her father’s hands. She had helped them, pierced by the arrow of love the destroyer-
Oh, fear!
Oh, terror!
To run away, to stay alive
His story ends with them on the ship, no more Kolchians after them, the waters calm. Jason under Hera’s protection, because she once took the form of an old woman, and he carried her across the river.

loving cup trophy
In Taurus King Minos prayed to the god Neptune to help him win against his brothers, and from the waters of Neptune rose a magnificent bull, a trophy that secured Minos’ rule in Crete, a trophy he kept instead of sacrificing back to the god, an original sin
In Libra there is also an original sin that has to do with a trophy, winning a trophy
It begins with a trophy in the form of a golden apple, with the words to the fairest written on it. What follows is the Judgement of Paris, Paris who chose Venus to be the fairest, and for choosing her, Venus gave him a trophy too, she gave him Helen, Helen who was married to Menelaus, and Paris took her away to Troy, because that’s where he was from, Paris prince of Troy, and in doing so he triggered the Oath of Tyndareus. What follows after is the Trojan War
There was a lot of mist in the war
When Paris was willing to battle it out with Menelaus, one on one, for Helen and the sum of her possessions, when it was decided that no matter who won, both sides would swear oaths of friendship, when they battled it out and Menelaus was about to win, Venus veiled Paris in a dense mist and wafted him away
The gods were involved in this war. They walked out of mist in the guise of a warrior’s trusted one to give advice that would help one side or the other, and there is something Paris came to understand, because he was no longer willing to give up Helen. He would give up all of her possessions and add his own, but not her
He understood that the gods did not want an agreement, they did not want Achaians and Trojans to part in friendship. They wanted finality, they wanted to give a trophy
Jupiter to the Trojans
Hera to the Achaians

Leo, before we talk about the club of Hercules, that branch that can grow roots, let’s talk about the origins of Hercules, Hercules of the two fathers, one in the heavens and one on earth, Jupiter and Amphitryon, Jupiter who took the form of Amphitryon the day before Amphitryon’s return from battle, to bed with Alcmene, an original sin that Hera wanted Hercules, product of this union, to pay for
To carry the guilt of the father
She sent two snakes to transfer the guilt, but Hercules refused the transfer and strangled the snakes. I’m innocent, he said, and I am strong

we could say that she has come to offer us guilt, fertilized guilt into the fabric of society, a guilt that we are not directly responsible for, blame it on the industrial revolution, blame it on reason and invention, progress, if you will. She blamed it on the heads of state. You’re not keeping your promises, she said, and the earth is burning-

There are Erinyes in Gemini, in this place where the body and soul are separate, where the soul can come after us, the beginning of social justice and checks and balances in a society
In Leo there is guilt that can become our guilt, ours to atone
The body the soul in Aries, guilt my guilt in Leo, and in Sagittarius we can walk in other people’s shoes
She has come to offer us guilt, fertilized guilt into the fabric of society, called out those in charge for not protecting the planet, created a global youth movement. She’s been exploring other causes of late, but she’s still young, hasn’t had her first Saturn return. Saturn in Gemini can ask her to make a choice, master one social cause and offer solutions. The ruler in Capricorn retrograding. To go from panic and blame to offering workable solutions grounded in proof.

Even with Saturn in the first decan of Scorpio, he punctured his nemesis
Scorpio in the sixth house of work, all three decans in whole signs
He worked with poison that can kill and poison that can heal
He worked with the mysteries of the mind, people’s psychology
With nurture, he fertilized a lake of his own, supporters who revolted when he was overthrown, patriotic soldiers who put him back in power. They were there for him in an emergency, and they weren’t going to let him go
His talents and resourcefulness in Cancer, nurturing with services and aid and not education but inculcation
Here he is dressed in a suit and speaks of Kennedy and Guevara
Later he dressed like Fidel, an old mentor and his unfinished revolution
There are warnings of hunger in the first decan of Scorpio, and here was his mastery, limiting other people’s hunger
expropriating, nationalising
It took courage, and then there was revelry
It brought him face to face with the moral crossroads
in Leo where there is guilt my guilt, an original sin that he laboured to atone in the third house of the village that raised him
Injustice
Digging in the riches of Leo, he put Venezuela in the spotlight, digging to create something new with Cancer in mind, something old, Uranus in a quincunx with Mars retrograding in Sagittarius
He would finish the old revolution
Today Jupiter in the sky is in the second decan of Cancer and these are combative times, and he was a combative man. It is true that today the Moon is there as well
He never walked into a room alone, he always brought memories with him, of presidents and writers on his side. Once he brought a book by Chomsky
A good day to remember him
In Pisces there are two fish in the water. In the story of Pisces, Venus and her son shapeshifted into fish and jumped into the River Euphrates, but in Pisces the water is salty. It is the primordial sea where life on earth began, there before us, there for every generation, in the sign that brings all generations together
There is a war in the heavens in Pisces, Titans and Olympians, the old generation with its old ideas and the new generation with its new ideas wanting a turn, fighting to have a turn
To win, the Titans created a monster, a destructive force, cacophonous, that got out of hand. Impossible to destroy, Jupiter trapped it under a mountain with his lightning bolt, a mountain that became volcanic. A monster unfinished, an unfinished war, unfinished, an original sin
In Sagittarius there is a centaur
We thought he was Chiron, trainer of heroes, he gave them a well rounded education, the philosophy of war, weaponry, the healing arts, herbs, and he taught them to look at the sky, at the gods. Imparting knowledge side by side
Chiron and young pupil from Cassell’s Dictionary of Classical Mythology by Jennifer R. March
The wounded healer, an arrow with the blood of the Hydra scratched him when Hercules came to tell him about his feat, a wound that wouldn’t heal, the gap of Chiron
When an astronomical object was given his name, and astrology put him on the chart, the search for the centaur in Sagittarius continued, the search for an archer
All those relief sculptures of the Battle of the Lapiths and the Centaurs. They weren’t fighting with bows and arrows, they were throwing cups and jars and bowls at each other, food vessels intended for feasting at a wedding
Centaurs born of Ixion and Nephele, born of hubris. Ixion was a guest at Jupiter’s table and lusted after Hera. To test him, Jupiter took a nephos, a cloud, and made it look like Hera, and Ixion went after the cloud, he went after Nephele
Ixion, King of the Lapiths, deceived by Hera by Peter Paul Rubens
For this act of transgression, Jupiter punished Ixion, tied to a fire wheel. From the union with Ixion, Nephele gave birth to the Centaurs, cloud born Centaurs
They lived in the mountains and the forests, a nomadic life
Stepbrothers of Pirithous, son of Ixion and Dia his wife, now King of the Lapiths and getting married to Hippodamia. They were invited to the wedding and drank too much. Some say it was the first time they tasted wine, and lust rose with drink, lust for the Lapith women. Drink that brought out the wild and untamed in them, drink that broke limits. One grabbed the bride and dragged her away, and others grabbed other women, and there were women cries and a battle ensued
The abduction of Hippodamia by Peter Paul Rubens and workshop
Capricorn claims the battle between the wild and untamed and the civilized
And so the search for the centaur in Sagittarius continues
There is Pabilsag, an ancient Babylonian god, winged centaur, warrior, guide of souls, his guidance not side by side, but like the tail of a comet
To know the archer Sagittarius, not knowing an original sin

Chart for May 17 1900, the day Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini was born
He wrote
“However, the second category of the foes of Islam who entertain more vicious plots claim that religion and politics are not compatible and cannot be combined. These ignorant individuals must realize that the Holy Quran and the traditions of the Prophet of Islam contain more lessons, decrees and commands on the rule of government and politics than they do on any other issue. Indeed a good many Islamic laws concerning worship have political aspects as well. Neglecting such aspects has often resulted in catastrophes. The prophet of Islam founded a government just like any other except that it seeks to promote social justice and equity.”
In this writing, a holy book is the source of religious laws and political laws, the source of the principles that guide a society, and we look at Libra and the ruler in Cancer making sacred
And we look at Taurus. His land a land of oil that had been the playground of superpowers, forces that spoilt, forces that did not hold. His morality here, to protect and to hold, Mercury handing him the tools available in the sign, a javelin that never misses, a hunting dog that always provides food, and Talos
He would not just protect against the superpowers’ greed, but against those who did not adhere to the true form of the holy book, the original form
“In recent years major satanic powers have, through their puppet regimes who sham Islam, undertaken to reprint and publish the Holy Quran, distorting sacred verses to serve their devilish ends. Such Qurans are published with attractive calligraphy and binding and are distributed everywhere with the aim of eventually removing the Holy Book from all scenes. We all saw the Quran that Muhammad Reza Khan Pahlavi …(18) had printed. He succeeded in deceiving some people including a few Muslim akhunds or preachers who, unaware of the aims of Islam, praised him for it. We note that each year King Fahd …(19) of Saudi Arabia spends a good deal of the wealth of the people in printing the Holy Quran and considerable publicity and propaganda material in support of anti-Quranic ideas propagating the baseless and superstitious cult of Wahhabism …(20). Fahd abuses the Quran, urges negligent people and nations to side with the superpowers. He uses the noble Islam and the Holy Book to destroy both.”
Venus in Cancer can censor, she can bring societal limits to a lake, she can shield
In opposition to Saturn R in Capricorn, the Centauromachy here, the battle between the wild and untamed and the civilized, in his sixth house of work
He kept the structures of the land intact, his revolution wasn’t structural, the equal status of women was an achievement of the previous rulers, contracts were the achievement of the previous rulers, he would pick and choose which ones to keep, he would keep contracts that had to do with agriculture, bring development and benefit the people of the land
If the previous rulers considered him wild and untamed, he considered them wild and untamed, SAVAK became SAVAMA
His empty place in Pisces
“My advice to all generations, present and future, is that if you desire God’s sovereignty to continue and domestic as well as foreign colonialization of your lands and exploitation of your resources be curtailed, do not under any circumstance, abandon this divine incentive that the Holy Quran has emphasized. Forsaking this theocentric incentive and goal, which is the secret of the victory of the Revolution and its survival, will result in dispute, disunity and a forgotten purpose and objective. It is because of this that trumpets of propaganda are sounding off everywhere sowing the seeds of discord and disunity by distortion of facts and outright falsehood and lies.
“Millions upon millions of dollars are being spent for such mean purposes by corrupt powers that own or control the mass media and by their local stooges. The constant visits by the enemies of the Islamic Revolution to the region has this purpose in mind. Among such visitors, however, one sometimes sees heads of Islamic states who can think of nothing but their personal interests, as well as pseudo-clergymen. These elements blindly hand themselves over to the U.S.A. That of which the Iranian nation and Muslims everywhere must be mindful of, now and ever after, is the importance of neutralizing the vicious disuniting propaganda. My advice to all is that you should react to such plots and, by all means possible, render your unity (of word and purpose) increasingly more solid and thus disappoint the heathen and hypocrites.”
He warned all generations not to let their guards down, the monster unfinished

Leo Virgo rising, he laboured for purity, he laboured to build a temple, he laboured for the oppressed. answers
There are the children of Typhon in Leo
There is culture in Virgo
His words a war against the children of Typhon, his words leading back to tradition. He had a particular preoccupation with education, Mars in Aries, and Mercury and the Sun in Taurus in the ninth house
“One of the satanic plots of the major colonialists and exploiters, that has been in force for many decades and reached its apex in Iran in the reign of Reza Khan and was continued by Muhammad Reza, was to isolate the clergy by different methods including pressure, suppression, imprisonment, unfrocking and various forms of abuse, insult and derision. Another technique is to create friction, disharmony and animosity between university circles and the clergy.
“Extensive propaganda was used to achieve such tension and it was effective because of the ignorance of both groups of the devilish plotting of the super-powers. Grade school, high school and university teachers, tutors, principals, instructors, lecturers, professors, deans, etc were selected from among persons with pro-Eastern or pro-Western leanings. These educators were religious perverts. Devout and virtuous educators formed a small minority. The purpose was to train the future authorities of the state from childhood through adulthood in such a manner as to hate religions in general and Islam in particular and to despise religious enthusiasts especially the Muslim clergy.”
No more, no more foreign names, foreign fashion, foreign ideas
Mars ruler of Scorpio and Aries, tying the ninth house to home, home grown, home raised, hermetic
Here he was a military leader, merciless, here he purged, and here were his soldiers
“Students in both the theological schools and in the universities should be alert to the insidious propaganda diffused by their teachers and professors. As soon as you hear an instructor say or explain things in a manner that distorts the truth and tends to pervert the mind, reject him and turn him away from your classes.”
It was up to them to guard their independence
It was up to them to guard their freedom, Neptune in Gemini, the wish of the universe in Gemini, the ruler in Taurus .
It wasn’t a freedom based on unpossession
The soul unpossessed could invite the plunderer
It was a freedom based on possession

It was a freedom based on fear of the outsider who betrayed, the nadir in Scorpio

“One of the most important, destiny-shaping issues is the problem of educational institutions from kindergarten through the university. Because of its extraordinary significance, I repeat the matter with a passing remark. The pillaged nation must know that during the past fifty years all the devastating blows to Iran and Islam have come mainly from the universities. If the universities and other education centres were actively engaged in training, purifying and educating our children, our youth and our young men, armed with Islamic and national programs aimed at promoting the interests of the country, homeland would not have been swallowed first by England and then by Russia and America and such ruin agreements or treaties would not have been imposed on our deprived nation.”

Pollice verso, With a turned thumb, by Jean-Léon Gérôme, 1872
Detail, the Vestal virgins signal death for the defeated gladiator
At least one painter painted Helen alone, leaving her mortal counterpart out, Klytemnestra
Sisters married to the sons of Tyndareus, Helen to Menelaus and Klytemnestra to Agamemnon
The armies gathered round Agamemnon, but the winds died, and the Oracle told him to sacrifice his daughter for winds to sail to Troy
What Pollux did for continuity
What Agamemnon did for continuity
Klytemnestra killed him for it upon his return, and she ruled the land beside her lover Aegisthus, until her son’s return, the son she thought was dead, Orestes, heir of Agamemnon, guided by Apollo, killed them both
He had thought himself pious, a father avenger, but the Furies haunted him, and people cried, Matricide!
What about my father? he asked. Without him, without his seed, I would not be here. He is my origin and she killed him, and you never punished her!
He took refuge in Apollo’s temple, but Apollo could not help him. He took refuge in Athena’s temple, and Athena helped him
She established the first trial, a citizen jury, collective judgement
Why did he kill his mother?
Why did she kill her husband?
Why did he kill his daughter?
What was the original sin?
Helen, when she differentiated, when Paris abducted her or she went willingly, Helen to blame
When the twins differentiated, Pollux found a solution
The result was a tie, and Athena broke the tie with a vote in Orestes’ favour
Fixity, an original sin

In Virgo Demeter arrested time, to protect her daughter’s innocence, she said no to all her suitors
Below the horizon, she lived unaware of the light, until the light accused her
Her daughter’s flower picking, interrupted when Pluto took her under, and Demeter walked the margins of the earth searching for her
She rested at the well of Eleusis, where Baubo distracted her, and where the Queen employed her to take care of her son
Demeter took care of him, every night, placing him on the fire to burn off his mortality, arresting time again
Interrupted when the Queen walked in
I’VE BEEN INTERRUPTED TWICE, said Demeter in a fury, revealing her true identity to the Queen, and the Queen threw herslef on the ground, asking for forgiveness. Dear lady of the grain, she meekly said, perhaps arresting time is an orginal sin in Virgo
Demeter sobbed. Is that what she’d been doing? Arresting time?
Dikē Unsuccessfully I might add
Dikē! I thought you left!
Dikē We all left, Demeter. I was the last to go, people reaching for me, promising to do better. You try to arrest time, I ask them to do the work of correction and improvement
You make them reach so far
Dikē You blur the separation. Look at you dressed in those rags!
She needed time to think, a place to think. She asked the Queen to build her a temple, and the Queen gathered the people of Eleusis to build the goddess a temple
When it was finished, she shut herself inside, and her grief coloured the earth grey and cold
Dikē She’s doing it again, father, arresting time. First eternal spring, and now eternal winter
Alarmed, Jupiter sent the messenger of the gods to the underworld and to the temple, until Pluto and Demeter reached a compromise, the compromise that gave us the seasons, the work of every season, the festivals of every season, the rituals and customs of a land, the foundation of culture

He compares their country to foreign countries. The leaders of foreign countries told him a year ago that they thought their country was dead, and now they have the hottest country. He sidetracks to talk about all the foreign wars they’ve solved, raging for years, and comes back to the state of the capital. His father used to tell him that if the front door of a restaurant is dirty, don’t go inside because it means the kitchen is dirty. Same thing with the capital, it’s a reflection of the rest of the country. If it’s dirty, the rest of the country is dirty and they won’t respect us

Horns that told people he’d been in contact with god
Why not? Some of the old gods have horns, like Enki Ea
But we wouldn’t climb a mountain to find him, he of the abzu. We’d go to the place where the reeds grow, sacred in the desert, fed by the seminal waters, fertile waters of his abode
where his laws come from, the mes. He makes them as they’re needed, endlessly creative in structuring behaviour, structuring activities, giving them bones. His sages, the fish cloaked apkallus, rise from the abzu to sprinkle them on the ground, to spread them

Not to be in touch would be an original sin
He studies the past, the patterns of the past to plan for the future
In the past the gods had grown tired of digging irrigation canals and tilling the soil. They wanted a labour force to do the work, and Enki made people to labour for the gods
But people had multiplied and grown noisy, and Enlil decided to send a flood to destroy them
He had sent a plague before, and a drought, but Enki had intervened both times to save them. This time he prohibited Enki from telling anyone
Enki who made the laws of kingship and hierarchy, to do as he was told by the higher ups

He would escape it
He would tell a wall of reeds instead

Ganymede by the workshop of Nicolas Régnier, 17th century
Jupiter doesn’t fertilize a story with Ganymede in Aquarius
like he does with Leto in Scorpio, with Europa in Taurus, with Alcmene in Leo
And before all the paintings of his abduction, Homer wrote of Tros, king of Troy, before Priam was king, and of his three unrivaled sons, Ganymede the best looking among mortals. How the gods took him to be Jupiter’s cup bearer and to live among the immortals
We fertilize the story, fill in the blanks in the sign of the even light
In the first story, Jupiter was taken by Ganymede’s beauty, and he brought him to Olympus to replace Hebe as cup bearer. It displeased Hera, but maybe opened her heart to Hebe marrying Hercules, a demi god
In the second story, Hebe married Hercules, and the gods needed someone to replace her as cup bearer
Either way, out of pleasure or out of necessity, a mortal took the place of an immortal in the heavens, an original sin
There is a vase in the Louvre

He describes David Johnston as a classic governor general.
He fit the archetype of a governor general, and nobody expressed doubts about him when he was selected. But people expressed doubts about Julie Payette
Not him. He says that he is interested to see how she will craft the office to fit the lifestyle she needs, raising a son. What she is willing to do and the amount of time she will devote to it. He is interested in the precedent she will set if the country wants people with children, younger people to come into this role.
As a Crown observer, he wants to see to what extent she will be able to meet with ministers and deputy ministers, and if she will be a person who’s more outspoken about the things she cares about.
He said these things on October 2 2017
Not to change tradition, blocked from changing the order of things by the Venus Mars conjunction in Virgo
Saturn and Neptune, making room for something new in education without changing the order
Jupiter and Uranus fertilizing a contract with a person who would not change the order
Venus and Mars, they can block and they can seed, with Mercury in Libra, they can seed principles that guide a society, or simply new arrangements
but on this day, the Moon had a say
Ketu in Aquarius, the lunar work in Aquarius where a mortal took the place of an immortal to be of service
The day began with the Moon at 24 degrees Aquarius
trining Jupiter and sextiling Uranus, trines that can bring ease, and sextiles opportunities, and they can reprimand and express doubt, aspects of familiarity
The day began with the Moon in a quincunx to Mercury, a quincunx that would become exact later in the day, the day ending with the Moon at 7 degrees Pisces

And she tells us what they put them through during training. They took them out of their comfort zone and got them to work together, in the wilderness, to find their food and do other activities, for several days, without being comfortable, in the snow or drylands, which made them be on the lookout for each other, and to reach out and do the right thing, where the individual becomes secondary to the team’s objective
